Every believer is called to grow in Christ, and believers grow by being equipped in their faith. We are equipped as we study the Word together, share life experiences, and serve one another. Believers are equipped through Sunday School, D-Groups, and personal devotional time )(2 Tim. 3:16-17; Eph. 2:10, 12; Acts 2:42).

Practically, we do this through:

Sunday School

Open large groups where the Bible is discussed in the context of life

D-Groups

Closed small groups of 3-5

Personal

Private personal devotion time with Jesus at home with family

In other words, every small group at FBCJ should function as a CLASSROOM, a HOSPITAL, & a LAUNCHPAD!

Galatians 6:2 "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ"

Colossians 1:28 "Him we proclaim, warning and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ.”

Hebrews 12:24 "... let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works."
