Our Phases

FBC Jones’ discipleship process for children follows age-appropriate phases, each designed to equip parents and engage kids with the gospel, helping them love Christ and His mission wholeheartedly.




  • Phase 1: Nursery (Ages 0–2)
    • Goal: Help parents embrace their role as primary disciplers & to create a place where kids can experience the love of Christ.
    • Events/Programs: FBC Jones Kids Nursery (Sun. 9:30 & 10:40 AM & Weds 6:30-8PM), Vacation Bible School (offered annually in June).
    • Milestone Event: Parent Commissioning—celebrating parents’ commitment to disciple children.
  • Phase 2: Preschool (Ages 3–5)
    • Goal: Engage kids with the gospel through Scripture and encourage parents to lead family worship at home.
    • Events/Programs: FBC Jones Kids (Sun. 9:30 & 10:40 AM (children’s church offered during sermon for ages 4 - 2nd grade) & Weds 6:30-8PM), Vacation Bible School (annually in June).
  • Phase 3: Elementary (Grades K–6)
    • Goal: Provide kids with the full story of God through Bible knowledge and memorization, and equip parents to disciple their kids in the gospel.
    • Events/Programs: FBC Jones Kids (Sun. 9:30 & 10:40 AM (children’s church offered during sermon for ages 4 - 2nd grade) & Weds 6:30-8PM), Vacation Bible School (annually in June), Falls Creek Kids’ Camp (3rd grade+ in May or June).
  • Phase 4: Middle & High School (Grades 7-12)
    • Goal: To reach, equip, and disciple students and parents to understand not just the “what” but also the “why” of the gospel and its implications for every believer's life. This includes developing godly character, fostering healthy relationships, cultivating love for others, growing in prayer and Bible study, and living on mission.
    • Events/Programs: Sundays (9:30 AM), Wednesdays (6:30-7:45 PM), mission trips, Falls Creek Camp (annually in July), various fun outings and service projects, mission trips.
